Once upon a time, back in June of the year of 2010, Cady found herself roped into attending a retreat weekend in Peoria, IL at the Spalding Retreat Center. It was a life-changing weekend for her in more ways than one, in ways she could have hardly predicted. That was the first time she laid her eyes upon a gentleman named Matthew, who was helping with that retreat weekend.
After the weekend retreat, Cady would make the trek to Peoria on Wednesday evenings to go to Mass and spend time afterwards with fellow members of this community. It was during these Wednesday evening escapades with a group of individuals that Matthew and Cady came to know each other and became friends.
Over the years, that friendship deepened into the vocation of marriage to one another. We are excited to enter the sacramental life of matrimony on December 28th of 2019 and to share it with our loved ones and those close to us.
